Acharya ITI under the patronage of KKES is one of the oldest ITIs in Bangalore providing Technically trained staff to the requirement of industrial concerns in the state. Acharya ITI ensures a steady flow of skilled workers to different trades for the industry and also assists in reducing unemployment among the educated youths by preparing them for suitable industrial employment

DISCIPLINE

The following code of conduct must be followed strictly during the period of training.

1. Three times late coming with half an hour will be treated as one day absence. Continous late comers are not allowed to the classes & they have to meet the principal along with their parents.

2 Leave letters must be duly countersigned by the parents/ guardian and submitted to the class JTO. If the trainee fails to submit the leave application, that period will be treated as unauthorised absence. If the trainee fails to secure 80% attendance in each subject his/her training period will be extended as per N.C.V.T. norms or may not be allowed to appear the board examination.

3. For unauthorised absence of more than 15 days, a letter will be sent by the Institute. If there is no response to the letter, a registered letter will then be posted and the trainee will be terminated if a satisfactory reply is not received.

4. The trainee should attend classes regularly and should obtain the permission of the JTO to go out of the class room during class hours.

5. If the trainee is discharged from the institute on any ground and seeks re-admisston, he/she has to pay re-admission charges which will be Rs.2,500=00 or as fixed by the management.

6. The trainee has to submit his/her sessional work to the JTO on every month and quarterly to the principal, failing which the sessional marks will not be forwarded to the board and in turn the trainee may not be allowed to appear the board examination.

7. If the trainee fails in quarterly test he/she has to bring their parent/guardian & should meet the principal along with a suitable explanation.

8. It is the duty and responsibility of every trainee to safe guard property of the institute, suitable penalties and punishments will be levied on the trainee for such damages.

9. Anything which is not recorded as above will be implemented by the principal as and when necessary in the interest of the trainees. He may cane/ slap in extreme situations and his decision is final in maintaining discipline.
